A Simple System For Getting More Google Reviews

Businesses with a review habit outgrow businesses with better work but no system. Build the habit in 20 minutes.

Why reviews compound

Reviews influence local rankings, click-through rate and conversion all at once. Fifty genuine reviews at 4.8 is one of the strongest marketing assets a local business can own — and it's free.

Ask at the moment of delight

The best time to ask is right after a good outcome — the finished job, the recovered injury, the successful event. Satisfaction fades; ask while it's fresh.

Make it one tap

Get your Google review link (Google Business Profile → Ask for reviews) and save it as a text template: 'Thanks again! If you have 60 seconds, a quick Google review really helps a small business like ours: [link]'.

Reply to every review

Replies show future customers you're attentive — and Google notices engagement. Two sentences is plenty. Reply to critical reviews calmly and factually; readers judge the reply more than the complaint.

Your checklist

  • Save your Google review short-link somewhere handy
  • Write a friendly 2-line request text template
  • Ask your three most recent happy customers today
  • Set a monthly reminder: ask three customers
  • Reply to every review from the last 90 days
